Becoming an Official

Swim meets can't run without officials! Becoming an official is a great way to get involved in your child's sport and give back to the swimming community.

No experience is necessary to become an official. Training clinics are offered throughout the year, and you can learn as you go by shadowing experienced officials.

Benefits of Becoming an Official:
  • Best seat in the house to watch your swimmer
  • Free food and refreshments during meets
  • Team volunteer credit
  • Opportunity to attend higher-level meets
  • Be part of a fun and supportive community
